The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chepes. Hilario Laurgain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Eugenio Nabar had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Leopoldo Herauso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Severino Naldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Nabar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Esteban Etxatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chepes's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Etxatxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Laurgain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Alonzo Tuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Emanuel Kinsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chepes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abramo AFC the free kick. 35 minutes into the match, Abramo AFC's Leopoldo Herauso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eugenio Nabar was a little too slow when Jesus Isaio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. Esteban Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Laurgain having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jesus Isaio made the kick off in the second half. Severino Naldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Dubardo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Esteban Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Alonzo Tuste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilario Laurgain was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Alonzo Tuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Hilario Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Isaio in the 95th minute of play forced Chepes's goalkeeper Eugenio Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
