Fulgencio Rutenio started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Choya AFC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cosme Cordaryal hit a great ball. Modesto Quirce charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Quirce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Modesto Quirce kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Modesto Quirce was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 9 minutes had been played. In the 10th minute, Modesto Quirce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Ismael Mendiko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Navarro skillfully saved the ball. Fulgencio Rutenio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cosme Sidoro having to make a save. Jaime Urti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Cosme Sidoro made a huge save. Pascual Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Tadzio in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Ekialde in the 32nd minute of play forced Choya AFC's goalkeeper Pascual Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Navarro came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilino's Evaristo Ekialde. But to his dismay, Evaristo Ekialde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Quilino were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Tadzio was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Pascual Navarro made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Ekialde got free with Pascual Navarro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Evaristo Ekialde came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Quilino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Ekialde couldn't finish the play. Armando Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Quilino players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
