Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Higinio Gentza started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Prudencio Miro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Geronimo Tonete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romeo Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Ovando having to interfere. When Higinio Gentza came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chaguaral AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Gentza couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Rexino. In the 15th minute, Higinio Gentza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jimeno Ovando, passed just outside the right post. Romeo Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jimeno Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Jimeno Ovando managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Chaguaral AFC's Jesus Belasko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Romeo Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jimeno Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Prudencio Miro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Tonete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chaguaral AFC's Geronimo Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Miro in the 28th minute of play. Angelo Estevez kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Malligasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Rexino to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Guillermo Gar in the 35th minute of play was well struck, but Jimeno Ovando made a really good save at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Chaguaral AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Xabat came free, but Geronimo Tonete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Chaguaral AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Belasko to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Tonete having to interfere. Geronimo Tonete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Miro to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Fe. 58 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Rencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaguaral AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malligasta the free kick. The supporters of Malligasta booed when Chaguaral AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Rencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Prudencio Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Ovando having to interfere. Prudencio Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Romeo Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaguaral AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Millano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Ovando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Xabat charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Xabat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Malligasta got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Xabat. Carlos Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Tonete having to interfere. Chaguaral AFC's Geronimo Tonete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Xabat in the 93rd minute of play. Jesus Belasko hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Prudencio Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Tonete having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Malligasta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
