Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clemente Fonso got the match started through his kick off. Celestino Caton's late challenge caught a Zubillaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Caton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Guerreros's Celestino Caton got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Guerreros's goalkeeper Angelino Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horacio Jobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horacio Jobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Clemente Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Angelino Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Caetano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Angelino Furtado made a huge save. Victor Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Jobo having to interfere. Victor Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Horacio Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Los Guerreros's Angelino Furtado got control of the ball when Roman Caetano tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Clemente Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Caetano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roman Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Havier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Guerreros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zubillaga the free kick. After 38 played minutes Los Guerreros got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Havier. The supporters of Zubillaga booed when Los Guerreros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Zubillaga were awarded a corner. Celedonio Dolfos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Celedonio Dolfos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Guerreros's Angelino Furtado did a great save. 46 minutes into the match, Los Guerreros's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Fonso came free, but Angelino Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Serafin Totakoxe made the kick off in the second half. Serafin Totakoxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Fonso struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Angelino Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zubillaga. If Serafin Totakoxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Totakoxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Guerreros's Angelino Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Fonso in the 68th minute of play. Clemente Fonso struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Angelino Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zubillaga. After 77 played minutes Los Guerreros got a freekick which was hit by Andres Salvino. After some careless play in the Los Guerreros defense, Clemente Fonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Furtado. The Los Guerreros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Furtado should have stopped the shot. Angelino Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clemente Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Zubillaga's Roman Caetano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Zubillaga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
