The tension between the Chajarí and the Curacó AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chajarí getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Apolo Urtsua hit a great ball. Chajarí's Hernan Casomiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Chajarí from getting a goal against them. The referee showed Jeremias Indalecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
