In the 5th minute, Aguirres's Ariel Teodor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Teofilo Dayam came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Jáchal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Dayam couldn't finish the play. Constantino Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Dayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Illart having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Gurutz in the 19th minute of play forced Aguirres's goalkeeper Constantino Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Illart was a little too slow when Ariel Teodor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 24th minute Celedonio Gurutz suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 24 minutes into the game, Victoriano Chumo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguirres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jáchal the free kick. The supporters of Jáchal booed when Aguirres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Chumo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Teodor in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Illart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jáchal's Arturo Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Teodor in the 32nd minute of play. Arturo Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes, Melquiades Inguma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jáchal and the Aguirres players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 played minutes Jáchal got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Inguma. In the 43rd minute Teofilo Dayam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jáchal's Teofilo Dayam got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Arturo Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Teodor in the 53rd minute of play. Arturo Illart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ariel Teodor's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Teofilo Dayam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jáchal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Dayam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st match minute, Aguirres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Derwin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Teofilo Dayam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Constantino Papo. That made the score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. When Teofilo Dayam came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Jáchal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Dayam couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Melquiades Inguma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jáchal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Arturo Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Teodor in the 75th minute of play. Silvestre Cloyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match Victoriano Chumo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Illart showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aguirres were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jáchal for a fine match.
