But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Monico couldn't finish the play. Siján's Edelmiro Sauveur got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Guañacos FC's Paolo Jaunzuria got control of the ball when Edelmiro Sauveur tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Guañacos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ambrosio Argenis hit a great ball. The supporters of Siján booed when Guañacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guañacos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
