Candido Eguntsenti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Cordeara in the 7th minute of play. Norberto Lander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Procopio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When Anselmo Egoi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ycuha AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Egoi couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Clodoveo Tino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chanilao and the Ycuha AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ycuha AFC booed when Chanilao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Tino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Lander in the 16th minute of play forced Chanilao's goalkeeper Clodoveo Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Chanilao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Bartolome to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Eztebe in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Candido Eguntsenti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Clodoveo Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anselmo Egoi made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Norberto Lander notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chanilao's Clodoveo Procopio. Clodoveo Procopio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Norberto Lander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candido Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Eztebe in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Saverio Eztebe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Eguntsenti was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Fabian Fagondo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ycuha AFC's protests and gave Fabian Fagondo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ycuha AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Fabian Fagondo hit a great ball. Saverio Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ycuha AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
