Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aristides Balendin started the match with the kick off. Benito Landero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Chucho in the 3rd minute of the match. Abel Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Laureano Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Arsenio Eduino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanagasta AFC the free kick. After 18 played minutes Pejelagartos de Tabasco got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Eduino. Benito Landero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Romildo in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute Abel Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Landero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Landero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Romildo in the 31st minute of play. Abel Romildo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Landero. Benito Landero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Chucho in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Landero saved Pejelagartos de Tabasco from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Arsenio Eduino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Eduino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Rutenio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Laureano Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Benito Landero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Iker Jerardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Iker Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Benito Landero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pejelagartos de Tabasco booed when Sanagasta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgard Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Eduino in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Pejelagartos de Tabasco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Guillelme to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Ernesto Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pejelagartos de Tabasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pejelagartos de Tabasco getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Clemente Guillelme hit a great ball. Jesus Lehior was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Sanagasta AFC booed when Pejelagartos de Tabasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Tomas Chucho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanagasta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Chucho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sanagasta AFC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Pejelagartos de Tabasco side.
