The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for United Force. Victorino Iruinea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Rene Millan 10 minutes into the match. If Gaspar Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severino James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute Victorino Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorino Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute, Leopoldo Hegoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rene Millan. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind United Force's goalkeeper Rene Millan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rene Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Iruinea's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The supporters of United Force booed when The Lycans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes The Lycans FC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Hegoi. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorino Iruinea to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ralf Elzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The United Force fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Iruinea in the 57th minute of play forced United Force's goalkeeper Rene Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Iruinea in the 58th minute of the match. The The Lycans FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
