Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eraldo Bustamante got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Widnes United's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Villalobos came free, but Mauro Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Edgardo Jimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Widnes United's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Jimenez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonso Lovo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Eraldo Bustamante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Widnes United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Bustamante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Jimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Tamworth got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Lara. In the 25th minute Eraldo Bustamante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonso Lovo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Widnes United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Milton Cerritos in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Milton Cerritos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alonso Lovo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamworth's goalkeeper Alonso Lovo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Giovani Villalobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eraldo Palmas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Mauro Paredes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Widnes United's Mauro Paredes got control of the ball when Eraldo Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Edgardo Jimenez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonso Lovo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Alonso Lovo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Bustamante in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Efren Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Milton Cerritos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Palma in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Tamworth's Giovani Villalobos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Jimenez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonso Lovo having to interfere. After 75 minutes of play, Widnes United's Edgardo Jimenez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonso Lovo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eraldo Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Widnes United getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Milton Cerritos hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Widnes United's goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Villalobos came free, but Mauro Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Villalobos in the 88th minute of play forced Widnes United's goalkeeper Mauro Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tamworth booed when Widnes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Ayala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Eraldo Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tamworth's Giovani Villalobos got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
