But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Velis couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes of play, Redruth's Angel Fornos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Sifon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ivan Velis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Christian Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ivan Velis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angel Fornos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Haydock's Josue Fernandez got a free kick in the 24th minute. Angel Fornos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eliseo Sifon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Sifon stood somewhat misplaced when Angel Fornos came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. 39 minutes into the match, Haydock's goalkeeper Eliseo Sifon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Escalante. Hector Olmedo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Redruth's Christian Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Redruth from getting a goal against them. Redruth's Christian Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josue Fernandez in the 57th minute of play. Adolfo Escalante succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. After 70 played minutes Redruth got a freekick which was hit by Angel Fornos. In the 76th minute, Angel Fornos made a precise shot to the right of Eliseo Sifon. Haydock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Orlando Mora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Sifon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Eliseo Sifon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Escalante in the 81st minute of the match. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redruth's goalkeeper Christian Bermudez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Adolfo Escalante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Redruth walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
