Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Alvarado in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Alvarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Moreira having to interfere. Nunthorpe's Arturo Ochoa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Shireoaks FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Alvarado came free, but Esteban Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nunthorpe's Rolando Mayen got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Esteban Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Alvarado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Omar Medrano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Nunthorpe getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ernesto Mejia hit a great ball. David Alvarado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arturo Ochoa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Nunthorpe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Ochoa couldn't finish the play. Giovani Valenzuela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, one of Nunthorpe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nunthorpe. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jhalmar Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leonel Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jhalmar Ribeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute Marvin Braun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marvin Braun in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonel Messias saved Nunthorpe from getting behind. A collision led to Nunthorpe getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Guillermo Orozco hit a great ball. Edgardo Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes, Shireoaks FC's Antonio Rico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Messias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shireoaks FC reached it. Leonel Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Braun in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Peredes during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shireoaks FC's Alejandro Peredes got a free kick in the 70th minute. Rolando Mayen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jhalmar Ribeiro scored 2-0 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Messias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonel Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jhalmar Ribeiro in the 88th minute of the match. Shireoaks FC's Marvin Braun got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eraldo Pacheco struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Esteban Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nunthorpe. Nunthorpe's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
