Shawn Barraza started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Gatwick FC booed when Lowestoft City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Castaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Raúl Prado made a precise shot to the right of Eraldo Guerrero. Lowestoft City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pedro Ventura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shawn Barraza in the 8th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Orlando Villarreal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gatwick FC and the Lowestoft City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gatwick FC's Orlando Villarreal got a free kick in the 12th minute. Pedro Zaldaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Lowestoft City's Shawn Barraza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Ventura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Shawn Barraza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Ventura. Gatwick FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shawn Barraza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Oscar Castaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Ventura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Barraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gatwick FC's Pedro Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Zaldaña in the 26th minute of play. Saul Larios charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Larios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute, one of Gatwick FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gatwick FC. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Lowestoft City. Nicolás Villacorta stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pedro Ventura. 1-3. In the 35th minute, Shawn Barraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Pedro Zaldaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrés Pedrozo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrés Pedrozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pedro Zaldaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustin Lara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Shawn Barraza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lowestoft City's supporters rose to their feet, but Shawn Barraza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ventura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Shawn Barraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Ventura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Agustin Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oscar Castaneda hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Pedro Ventura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Barraza in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Lowestoft City's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Prado came free, but Eraldo Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gatwick FC's goalkeeper Pedro Ventura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lowestoft City's Shawn Barraza got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Lowestoft City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gatwick FC throughout the match.
