After a defensive mix-up in Easingwold United's zone, Misael Díaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odir Cruz came out of the goal and Misael Díaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 101 minutes into the game, when Felipe Moreno put in a rough tackle. After 100 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Northampton! In the 103rd minute there was a penalty for Easingwold United. Adolfo Salinas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Félix Huezo. 3-0. Easingwold United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
