Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gilberto Nunes started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Gedling getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dagoberto Umanzor hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Rafael Flores shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edwin Coria showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 10th match minute, Kidmore End was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Victorino to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Rafael Flores sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kidmore End's Edwin Coria didn't even have to move. Gedling's Josue Olmedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Gedling from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nunes in the 15th minute of play forced Kidmore End's goalkeeper Edwin Coria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gedling's Waldir Salinas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Galeas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rafael Flores was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Waldir Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Coria having to interfere. The supporters of Kidmore End booed when Gedling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Velis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Coria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Salinas in the 41st minute of the match. Gedling's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafael Flores in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes, Gedling's Edgardo Velis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edwin Coria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gedling reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Mena to make the kick off. Gilberto Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Coria having to interfere. Pedro García struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Josue Olmedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kidmore End. When Edgardo Velis fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gedling's protests and gave Edgardo Velis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Edgardo Velis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jhalmar Batres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Dagoberto Umanzor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Kidmore End got a corner. Gedling's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Galeas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Waldir Salinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Coria having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Gedling got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Sigaran. If Oswaldo Mena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kidmore End were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gedling for a fine match.
