A collision led to South Kilworth FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Yasir Alas hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Navarro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yasir Serrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Bustamante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Renderos in the 5th minute of play. Pedro Bustamante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of South Shields United booed when South Kilworth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Garay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Henry Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Shields United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Navarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yasir Serrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, Julio Padilla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yasir Serrano, passed just outside the right post. Marcelo Garay kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Julio Padilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the South Shields United defense, Rafael Rivas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Bustamante. The South Shields United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Bustamante should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Rafael Rivas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Bustamante was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in South Kilworth FC's zone, Henry Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yasir Serrano came out of the goal and Henry Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Medrano during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Medrano struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Yasir Serrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Shields United. Victorino Renderos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Bustamante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Pedro Bustamante managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when South Kilworth FC's Rafael Rivas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in South Shields United's zone, Wilmer Nunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Bustamante came out of the goal and Wilmer Nunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Bustamante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Rivas in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes of play, South Shields United's Henry Navarro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yasir Serrano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of South Shields United booed when South Kilworth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yasir Serrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Navarro in the 92nd minute of the match. Yasir Serrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Padilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The South Kilworth FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing South Kilworth FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
