Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Giovani Martinez made the kick off which started today's match. Doncaster City's Christian Barrera got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Doncaster City's Christian Barrera in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashburton's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Ashburton getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Guillermo Barraza hit a great ball. Jonathan Granados made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Barrera in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashburton's goalkeeper Jonathan Granados, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ashburton's zone, Edwin Sandoval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Granados came out of the goal and Edwin Sandoval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Barrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Granados read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Ashburton's Jonathan Granados played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Barrera in the 37th minute of play. Christian Barrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonathan Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christian Barrera came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Doncaster City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Barrera couldn't finish the play. Christian Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Barrera made a kick off. Guillermo Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Barquero having to interfere. Primitivo Umaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jonathan Granados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joselito Leguizamon kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Rony Cruz scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Jonathan Granados who was too lazy, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ashburton's zone, Christian Barrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Granados came out of the goal and Christian Barrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edwin Sandoval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Barrera in the 75th minute of play forced Ashburton's goalkeeper Jonathan Granados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Doncaster City's Edwin Sandoval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Granados made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 80 minutes into the game, Primitivo Umaña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doncaster City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashburton the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Doncaster City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Umaña to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Rosales struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Giovani Barquero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashburton. Giovani Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Barquero having to interfere. Abraham Coria hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Joselito Leguizamon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Doncaster City played a much better game than Ashburton and deserved their victory. The Ashburton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
