Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilberto Bonilla got the match started through his kick off. Ulises Arango stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Renderos's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Gilberto Bonilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Arango didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac García went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 20 minutes, Armando Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponteland and the Catford players grew even worse after the yellow card. 20 minutes into the game, one of Ponteland:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rony Braun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Bonilla in the 27th minute of play. When Isaac García came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Catford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac García couldn't finish the play. Ponteland's Ulises Arango played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Renderos in the 39th minute of play. Isaac García fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Arango having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Isaac García made the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rony Braun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Gilberto Bonilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catford's Rony Braun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gilberto Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes of play, Catford's Mariano Renderos made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Arango was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gilberto Bonilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rony Braun having to interfere. Ulises Arango took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac García, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulises Arango was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yasir Quijada. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Catford had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
