Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Felipe Porras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilmer Ayala in the 13th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Limon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Lizano to maneuver through the defense. Pancho Robles kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When San Jose's Salvador Wanchope in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of San Jose booed when Limon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancho Robles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pancho Robles hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.
The wind increased when Wilmer Ayala made the kick off in the second half. Mario Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Porras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Mendez in the 54th minute of the match. Wilmer Ayala struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Felipe Porras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limon FC. Limon FC's Mario Mendez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilmer Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, San Jose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Cisneros to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Elizondo was a little too slow when Salvador Wanchope got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-2. Limon FC's Adolfo Elizondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Wanchope in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Limon FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pancho Robles hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Limon FC got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Lizano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvis Granados during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Jose's Elvis Granados got a free kick in the 91st minute. Felipe Porras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Lizano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Jose walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
