Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Irvin Trejos took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Uvita's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Quesada came free, but Bernie Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, one of Cobano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emiliano Cordero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Marco Coto made a huge save. Rodolfo Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bernie Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Coto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irvin Trejos's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Irvin Trejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Coto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Cordero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Coto having to make a save. Alexander Quesada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bernie Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Alexander Quesada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernie Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Cordero scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Coto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cobano's zone, Emiliano Cordero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Coto came out of the goal and Emiliano Cordero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 played minutes Cobano got a freekick which was hit by Maikol Huertas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Cordero got free with Marco Coto in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Cobano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Uvita:s goal. Antonio Garro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexander Quesada to strike the kick off in the second half. When Emiliano Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Uvita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Cordero couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernie Cordero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. If Alexander Quesada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Quesada in the 61st minute of play forced Uvita's goalkeeper Bernie Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Irvin Trejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute of the match Mauricio Vilchez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernie Cordero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexander Quesada was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Cobano's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 80 played minutes Cobano got a freekick which was hit by Nery Herrera. Cobano's Marco Coto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Cordero in the 89th minute of play. Rodolfo Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Cordero having to interfere. Cobano's Marco Coto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Cordero in the 93rd minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Uvita's Emiliano Cordero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Coto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
