Minor Guillen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgar Saborio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Leon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Minor Guillen made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Guardia in the 35th minute of play forced Orosi FC's goalkeeper Dennis Millot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orosi FC's Dennis Millot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Guardia in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Platanillo FC's Minor Guillen got control of the ball when Carlos Leon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Coronado in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Minor Guillen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Coronado was the one to do the kick off. Romulo Coronado struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Minor Guillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orosi FC. The supporters of Platanillo FC booed when Orosi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Leon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Romulo Coronado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orosi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Coronado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Platanillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Coronado came free, but Minor Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Fidel Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Platanillo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orosi FC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Platanillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Mata. Romulo Coronado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edgar Saborio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Platanillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Coronado came free, but Minor Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Millot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roy Guardia's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Roy Guardia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Aguilar's late challenge caught a Platanillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Aguilar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Platanillo FC booed when Orosi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Aguilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Platanillo FC got a corner. Orosi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Salomon Morera ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Platanillo FC's corner Salomon Morera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dennis Millot quite easily take care of the ball.
