The F.JEICYV.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gumaro Descarrega should have stopped the shot. If Apolo Baroja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Club Alianza Lima defense, Xaven Beranga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amancio Acebero. The Club Alianza Lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amancio Acebero should have stopped the shot. If Xaven Beranga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominic Santome in the 80th minute of play forced F.JEICYV.C's goalkeeper Gumaro Descarrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
