Sayveon Sallas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ayapata's goal looked a bit too open when Brais Ruilopez came free, but Belo Fornell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bermund Valderrama hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Viator Bretal struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Belo Fornell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza Lima. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brais Ruilopez in the 13th minute of play forced Ayapata's goalkeeper Belo Fornell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvator Monjo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Steven Moure was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Alianza Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvator Monjo to maneuver through the defense. In the 20thth minute of the game Sayveon Sallas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alianza Lima's Anxo Arenillas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viator Bretal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Belo Fornell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viator Bretal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ayapata booed when Alianza Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvator Monjo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anxo Arenillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Moure in the 65th minute of the match. When Sayveon Sallas got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Anxo Arenillas was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Viator Bretal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza Lima's supporters rose to their feet, but Viator Bretal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belo Fornell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Brais Ruilopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute.
