A collision led to Alianza lima getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ortzi Pedraja hit a great ball. Burutzagi Cia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Gonzáles in the 13th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Iztal Soliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burutzagi Cia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Montae Cubillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Mincho Busvidad managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Alianza lima's Omar Sedan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 29th minute, Omar Sedan made a precise shot to the right of Mincho Busvidad. Club Deportivo Ilo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 35th minute, Telmo Pantojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Montae Cubillo to make the kick off. Alianza lima's Ortzi Pedraja got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 52 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Ilo's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Sedan came free, but Mincho Busvidad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mouricio Ibarlucea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute.
