Alvaro Herencia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Pontones in the 16th minute of play. Sport Bolito FC's Maties Obarenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micael Mesia in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micael Mesia in the 22nd minute of play forced Sport Bolito FC's goalkeeper Maties Obarenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Roman Pontones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Bolito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Socabaya the free kick. Roman Pontones kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Socabaya's Peru Galaviz got a free kick in the 35th minute. Micael Mesia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maties Obarenes having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Sport Bolito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Micael Mesia came free, but Maties Obarenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Herencia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Pontones went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Reynaldo Valdez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Maties Obarenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Micael Mesia came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Deportivo Socabaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micael Mesia couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Socabaya defense, Roman Pontones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Herencia. The Deportivo Socabaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Herencia should have stopped the shot.
