Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Xicu Brufau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leocadio Villavedon. The goal made the score 1-0. Senio Zalaca struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rogerio Cortazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grupo Original Deportivo. Rogerio Cortazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluc Regato in the 17th minute of the match. Grupo Original Deportivo's Leocadio Villavedon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Grupo Original Deportivo from getting a goal against them. Senio Zalaca might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogerio Cortazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Senio Zalaca ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Grupo Original Deportivo's Leocadio Villavedon got control of the ball when Berto Urtueta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lluc Regato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senio Zalaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogerio Cortazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lluc Regato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Senio Zalaca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogerio Cortazar was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 44 played minutes Montalvo got a freekick which was hit by Berto Urtueta. In the 47thth minute of the game Senio Zalaca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montalvo's Rogerio Cortazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Senio Zalaca made a kick off. If Berto Urtueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lluc Regato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rogerio Cortazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Senio Zalaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Senio Zalaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Cortazar having to interfere. Oroitz Estopinal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Montalvo's Castulo Chinchilla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Castulo Chinchilla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Montalvo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Castulo Chinchilla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Senio Zalaca in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogerio Cortazar saved Montalvo from getting behind. 73 minutes in the game, Senio Zalaca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rogerio Cortazar having to interfere. If Oroitz Estopinal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Montalvo's goalkeeper Rogerio Cortazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lluc Regato. Nevada Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Nevada Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalvo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nevada Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantino Pico kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Leocadio Villavedon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nevada Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Montalvo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
