Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Escobar started the match with the kick off. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when Tumboya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricart Pravia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruy Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casomiro Agustin in the 6th minute of play. During the 6th minute of the match Ricart Pravia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ricart Pravia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 7th minute, Ricart Pravia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Nazario Ispuzua sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Montes Amor skillfully saved the ball. Josepe Gamiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montes Amor having to interfere. In the 13th minute Richie Ason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montes Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Escobar scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Montes Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Montes Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Escobar in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montes Amor saved Tumboya F.C. from getting behind. When Danilo Freije came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tumboya F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Freije couldn't finish the play. Montes Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josepe Gamiz in the 22nd minute of the match. When ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tumboya F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Montes Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Luis Escobar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Montes Amor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Montes Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Escobar in the 30th minute of play. Montes Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Montes Amor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Escobar's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Luis Escobar put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Montes Amor. Montes Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Escobar in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Tumboya F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Quevedo to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Luis Escobar put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Montes Amor. In the 63rd minute, one of ALIANZA 1901:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ALIANZA 1901. 64 minutes into the match, Fix Careaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruy Berger. ALIANZA 1901's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fix Careaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. In the 66th minute, Alfredo Tomasini made a precise shot to the right of Montes Amor. Tumboya F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Alfredo Tomasini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Montes Amor having to interfere. Casomiro Agustin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Tumboya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Montes Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richie Ason scored 1-9 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Montes Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Alfredo Tomasini recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Montes Amor. Alfredo Tomasini showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Luis Escobars short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Montes Amor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Montes Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
