In the 6th minute, Steve Hyuga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casomiro Agustin in the 7th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Santio Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Froilan Quevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santio Ibañez was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Santio Ibañez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Quevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Santio Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casomiro Agustin in the 20th minute of play. Adriano Longar might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Montes Amor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Longar ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Bernebe Emperanza got a free kick in the 31st minute. Santio Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Quevedo in the 36th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Nova Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Gatell. 44 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Freije came free, but Santio Ibañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Longar to make the kick off. Santio Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casomiro Agustin in the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Xulian Ugartondo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tumboya F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nova Soccer the free kick. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when Tumboya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulian Ugartondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes Tumboya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ricart Pravia. Froilan Quevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Santio Ibañez made a huge save. In the 63rd minute Ricart Pravia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santio Ibañez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Soccer's Santio Ibañez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricart Pravia in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Chumo Nuño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Froilan Gatell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Gatell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Montes Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricart Pravia in the 68th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Santio Ibañez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santio Ibañez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricart Pravia in the 72nd minute of the match. Froilan Gatell kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Casomiro Agustin came free, but Santio Ibañez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Nova Soccer's Santio Ibañez got control of the ball when Danilo Freije tried to sneak it across the goal line. Steve Hyuga struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Montes Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Soccer. If Steve Hyuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montes Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Longar in the 82nd minute of the match. Danilo Freije received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santio Ibañez came out and tried to block the shot, but Danilo Freije slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute, Tumboya F.C.'s Ricart Pravia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santio Ibañez. Santio Ibañez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Santio Ibañez came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Tumboya F.C.'s Ricart Pravia. But to his dismay, Ricart Pravia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Nova Soccer fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tumboya F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
