Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Xurdin Urbino made the kick off and thus started the match. Naupe SC's Urtsin Iracheta got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute Lisandro Vaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaiver Ocejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, liga deportiva universita's Xurdin Urbino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walter Cardeños narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Hector Oyardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Naupe SC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Oyardo came free, but Walter Cardeños reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Vaca kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xaiver Ocejo. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Naupe SC's Urtsin Iracheta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xaiver Ocejo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xurdin Urbino in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Cardeños prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in liga deportiva universita's zone, Urtsin Iracheta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xaiver Ocejo came out of the goal and Urtsin Iracheta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Oyardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Cardeños stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xurdin Urbino's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Lisandro Vaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Lisandro Vaca made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Urtsin Iracheta made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. liga deportiva universita's Xaiver Ocejo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Xaiver Ocejo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtsin Iracheta went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Hector Oyardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Cardeños read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Xaiver Ocejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Vaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Vaca in the 92nd minute of play forced liga deportiva universita's goalkeeper Xaiver Ocejo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Naupe SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while liga deportiva universita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
