UD Landazuri's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. One of THE GOLD 3:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Landazuri:s goal. Gomez Orchua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Mestre in the 61st minute of the match. THE GOLD 3's Edwin Maseda got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Washington Villaño got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Monelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Cavadilla having to interfere. The supporters of UD Landazuri booed when THE GOLD 3 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Arriba didn't get a good kick on the ball. UD Landazuri's Urbes Forcen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maximiliano Cavadilla but with some difficulty. Santos Gandio charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Gandio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Cavadilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Villaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arboleda Serna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gomez Orchua. UD Landazuri's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. UD Landazuri's Gomez Orchua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Maseda in the 79th minute of play. Edwin Maseda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When UD Landazuri's Washington Villaño in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in THE GOLD 3's zone, Washington Villaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Cavadilla came out of the goal and Washington Villaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, THE GOLD 3's Maximiliano Cavadilla got control of the ball when Marcelo Monelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Mestre in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gomez Orchua prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
