After 8 played minutes CD Tejar got a freekick which was hit by Chucho Torquemada. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Maseda got free with Moreno Almeida in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristobal Mestre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edwin Maseda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moreno Almeida having to interfere. Carlos-Armando Viergol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edwin Maseda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Moreno Almeida made a huge save. Maximiliano Cavadilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Izaran in the 23rd minute of the match. Carlos-Armando Viergol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos-Armando Viergol made a kick off. Garcia Candelo's late challenge caught a THE GOLD 3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garcia Candelo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD Tejar's Garcia Candelo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Denis Izaran struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Maximiliano Cavadilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Tejar. Denis Izaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Maximiliano Cavadilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Carlos-Armando Viergol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Edwin Maseda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, CD Tejar's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Mestre came free, but Moreno Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Reasco Baraona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CD Tejar's Moreno Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Mestre in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, CD Tejar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guerrero Cienfuegos to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Maseda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. THE GOLD 3's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
