After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Leon Valgrande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guel's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Valgrande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herman Björkman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ascencio Raña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Zamora Noriega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zamora Noriega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Raña in the 12th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Guel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Anel to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Ascencio Raña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leon Valgrande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Herman Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulizes Guerris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zamora Noriega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ulizes Guerris might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zamora Noriega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulizes Guerris ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulizes Guerris's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zamora Noriega firmly grabbed it by the left post. Guel's Zamora Noriega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Guel from getting a goal against them. Ulizes Guerris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zamora Noriega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Valgrande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Valgrande took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herman Björkman. Herman Björkman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ulizes Guerris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zamora Noriega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ascencio Raña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zamora Noriega having to interfere. Costante Taranco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ascencio Raña struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Zamora Noriega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA. With a little luck, ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA's Herman Björkman got control of the ball when Costante Taranco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Valgrande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Herman Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulizes Guerris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Zamora Noriega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulizes Guerris in the 91st minute of play forced Guel's goalkeeper Zamora Noriega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costante Taranco took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herman Björkman. Herman Björkman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
