The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Satupali:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Ulizes Guerris managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulizes Guerris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vermudo Irigoyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ascencio Raña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vermudo Irigoyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ascencio Raña in the 20th minute of the match. Ulizes Guerris in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vermudo Irigoyen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Herman Björkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierrez Vizcaya in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutierrez Vizcaya in the 44th minute of play forced ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA's goalkeeper Herman Björkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Björkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Videl Goñi in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gutierrez Vizcaya to make the kick off. Patricio Manglano kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Vermudo Irigoyen came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA's Ulizes Guerris. But to his dismay, Ulizes Guerris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Herman Björkman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierrez Vizcaya in the 64th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Videl Goñi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ulizes Guerris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Videl Goñi struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Herman Björkman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Satupali. In the 72nd minute Gutierrez Vizcaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Björkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ascencio Raña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ulizes Guerris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Satupali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Aspe to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA were the better team. ZABECA DE MI BOGUE DORAPA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
