Edison Henriquez started the match with the kick off. Luis Garnelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minda Laores having to interfere. Kaviedes Andinyach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villagra Caamaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VALDEZ S.C's Kaviedes Andinyach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edison Henriquez in the 9th minute of play. Kaviedes Andinyach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edison Henriquez in the 11th minute of play. Minda Laores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Contero in the 15th minute of play. Batista Pintor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Urbez Arzumendi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Luis Garnelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Minda Laores when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 23 played minutes ac milan got a freekick which was hit by Salas Espinola. Luis Garnelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Minda Laores made a huge save. Miguel Contero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minda Laores having to interfere. When Urbez Arzumendi fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ac milan's protests and gave Urbez Arzumendi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VALDEZ S.C booed when ac milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbez Arzumendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Edison Henriquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaviedes Andinyach. VALDEZ S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edison Henriquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Miguel Contero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minda Laores having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Contero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Villagra Caamaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kaviedes Andinyach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Rosello kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, VALDEZ S.C's Miguel Contero made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Minda Laores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edison Henriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kaviedes Andinyach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Edison Henriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. ac milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Edison Henriquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaviedes Andinyach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute Luis Garnelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minda Laores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minda Laores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Garnelo in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Villagra Caamaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ac milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Villagra Caamaño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaviedes Andinyach was a little too slow when Edison Henriquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ac milan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
