CD Nate's Carlos-Alberto Olmos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Folle in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, CD Nate's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Folle came free, but Carlos-Alberto Olmos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos-Alberto Olmos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Folle went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Xove Era fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos-Alberto Olmos having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walter Folle was the one to do the kick off. Xove Era sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of C.S. Emelec booed when CD Nate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Luengo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Xove Era reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carlos-Alberto Olmos. The goal made the score 0-3. 65 minutes into the match, CD Nate's goal looked a bit too open when Xove Era came free, but Carlos-Alberto Olmos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD Nate's Carlos-Alberto Olmos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipo Zurica in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, CD Nate's goalkeeper Carlos-Alberto Olmos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Folle. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Folle in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos-Alberto Olmos saved CD Nate from getting behind. In the 86th minute, CD Nate's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Walter Folle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Filipo Zurica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos-Alberto Olmos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Folles short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Carlos-Alberto Olmos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. C.S. Emelec played a much better game than CD Nate and deserved their victory. The CD Nate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
