Carlos Palenciano struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Guerrero Rebustillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Zuleta. Virgilio Chumacero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costante Villodas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. John Rosio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guerrero Rebustillo made a huge save. Costante Villodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Virgilio Chumacero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Uzuri Campanero fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Lentag's protests and gave Uzuri Campanero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27thth minute of the game Carlos Palenciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Lentag's Guerrero Rebustillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inocencio Travieso, 32 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Perlaza Chamochin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Virgilio Chumacero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perlaza Chamochin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Chumacero having to interfere. The CD Zuleta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Lentag were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Palenciano was the one to do the kick off. Costante Villodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Virgilio Chumacero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, CD Lentag's Perlaza Chamochin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgilio Chumacero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58thth minute of the game John Rosio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Lentag's Guerrero Rebustillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Lentag's Costante Villodas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carlos Palenciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Zuleta's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Palenciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guerrero Rebustillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When CD Zuleta's Carlos Palenciano in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded CD Lentag left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CD Zuleta.
