An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilio Tamayo in the 11th minute of play forced Mapaches fc's goalkeeper Mateo Serans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mapaches fc's zone, Zorion Herruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Serans came out of the goal and Zorion Herruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilio Tamayo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Mateo Serans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robalino FC. 14 minutes into the game, Carlos Parte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mapaches fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Robalino FC the free kick. Teofilio Tamayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Serans. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilio Tamayo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Robalino FC's Zabal Ramos got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Zorion Herruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Serans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mapaches fc's Texeira Almirall got a free kick in the 38th minute. If Zorion Herruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Teofilio Tamayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Robalino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilio Tamayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Robalino FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Stacio Melendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapaches fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stacio Melendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Flor Salvado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darío Ocharan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arboleda Murieta during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Arboleda Murieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Serans was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enrico Doral. If Zorion Herruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Xavier Clavijo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapaches fc and the Robalino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xavier Clavijo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Zorion Herruz struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mateo Serans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Robalino FC. Mateo Serans didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. If Zorion Herruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Texeira Almirall hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Robalino FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
