A hard shot by Javier Santos from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Dani Sedillo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Ramiro Monje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Alda to strike the kick off in the second half. Morán Aniel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 62 played minutes CTM Fc got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Betardo. Xanti Moreda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azconzábal Barona having to interfere. If Ramiro Monje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Shuna's Ramiro Monje slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Azconzábal Barona. That made the score 0-1 after 70 minutes of play. In the 76th minute, Edmundo Alda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CTM Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 82 minutes into the game, CD Shuna's Xanti Moreda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Shuna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
