The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramírez Pujana got free with Dennis Besosa in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estrada Oliva kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ramírez Pujana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Dennis Besosa made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramírez Pujana got free with Dennis Besosa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Maria's Estrada Oliva got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Maria's zone, Ramírez Pujana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Besosa came out of the goal and Ramírez Pujana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maria's Dennis Besosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Maria from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when 谢政震 sped through Guanaje SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Olivares. Pablo Olivares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 谢政震's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ramírez Pujana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dennis Besosa made a huge save. A very good chance. 谢政震 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes, Ugutz Brochero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guanaje SC and the Maria players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guanaje SC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ugutz Brochero hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Estrada Oliva in the 47th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pablo Olivares's left hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 谢政震 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pablo Olivares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estrada Oliva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 谢政震 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Maria's supporters crossed their fingers, but 谢政震 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maria had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
