Roberto Rieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without España Rois having to interfere. In the 20th minute Leonel Salamanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salas Atilano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Santos Vasaburu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Tangay and the CD Cuhimbe players grew even worse after the yellow card. 25 minutes into the game, one of CD Tangay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

España Rois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Pinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Xavier Pinos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Cuhimbe's España Rois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
