Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fiallos Falces got the match started through his kick off. Fiallos Falces blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yambay Rutges having to make a save. After having played for 12 minutes, Ortíz Sangra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdilla SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ortíz Sangra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samaniego Fresno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavon Jane in the 14th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Verdilla SC got a freekick which was hit by Xavon Jane. If Ortíz Sangra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Ortíz Sangra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samaniego Fresno. Austin Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ortíz Sangra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zacarias Villaquilambre kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Yambay Rutges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Weterio Olave, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Fiallos Falces hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samaniego Fresno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ortíz Sangra went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Xavon Jane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Austin Sporting Club's Fiallos Falces got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Austin Sporting Club's Samaniego Fresno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Austin Sporting Club from getting a goal against them. If Xavon Jane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Verdilla SC's Martin Lascano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Samaniego Fresno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ortíz Sangra in the 57th minute of play forced Austin Sporting Club's goalkeeper Samaniego Fresno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ortíz Sangra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ortíz Sangra in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samaniego Fresno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yambay Rutges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonso Herruz in the 65th minute. Verdilla SC's Yambay Rutges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Herruz in the 67th minute of play. Samaniego Fresno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ortíz Sangra in the 79th minute of play. Unax Fuente charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Unax Fuente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Unax Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Austin Sporting Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verdilla SC:s goal. 91 minutes into the game, Verdilla SC's Xavon Jane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samaniego Fresno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 97th minute, Vachon Rael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Verdilla SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Austin Sporting Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
