Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquin Laso took the kick off in the first half of the match. CD Cascarilla's Gomez Enestrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Sendeño in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Hector Sendeño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Enestrosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes CD Cascarilla got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Feloaga. José-Manuel Zambranos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Piedrahita having to interfere. Joaquin Laso struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gomez Enestrosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldados de Cristo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Sendeño in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gomez Enestrosa saved CD Cascarilla from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, José-Manuel Zambranos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Cascarilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but José-Manuel Zambranos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gomez Enestrosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Sendeño in the 28th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Hector Sendeño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Cascarilla's Gomez Enestrosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes CD Cascarilla got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Montez. Vermudo Almaguer's late challenge caught a Soldados de Cristo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vermudo Almaguer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, CD Cascarilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vermudo Almaguer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Xzaiver Fuenmayor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by José-Manuel Zambranos in the 36th minute of play forced Soldados de Cristo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Piedrahita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xzaiver Fuenmayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Piedrahita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José-Manuel Zambranos in the 39th minute of the match. Hector Sendeño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gomez Enestrosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Sendeño in the 43rd minute of play forced CD Cascarilla's goalkeeper Gomez Enestrosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klimowitz Durazo during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José-Manuel Zambranos was the one to do the kick off. If Xzaiver Fuenmayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Piedrahita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xzaiver Fuenmayor in the 55th minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Soldados de Cristo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ugartondo to maneuver through the defense. Soldados de Cristo's Hector Sendeño got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Piedrahita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José-Manuel Zambranos went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Soldados de Cristo's zone, Xzaiver Fuenmayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Piedrahita came out of the goal and Xzaiver Fuenmayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Laso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Enestrosa having to interfere. With a little luck, CD Cascarilla's Gomez Enestrosa got control of the ball when Hector Sendeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Joaquin Laso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Manuel Zambranos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, CD Cascarilla's Xzaiver Fuenmayor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Piedrahita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. José-Manuel Zambranos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Piedrahita having to interfere. In the 89th minute José-Manuel Zambranos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soldados de Cristo's zone, Xzaiver Fuenmayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soldados de Cristo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
