Xaiver Parcero hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Xano Torto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Ruisuarez in the 18th minute. When Rolando Villodas fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Manandel's protests and gave Rolando Villodas a yellow card for diving instead. If Danilo Carragal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Rodas Hompanera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Ruisuarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xano Torto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Vela in the 31st minute of play forced UD Manandel's goalkeeper Vimaro Valdecañas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Sandro Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vimaro Valdecañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Villafuerte Briones kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xano Torto. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CD Poglio's zone, Rixon Maximino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xano Torto came out of the goal and Rixon Maximino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Villafuerte Briones made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Omar Ruisuarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xano Torto. CD Poglio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Ruisuarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 57th minute Villafuerte Briones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xano Torto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sandro Vela came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the CD Poglio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Vela couldn't finish the play. Omar Ruisuarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Xano Torto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
