After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona SC's zone, Omar Ruisuarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espinola Salgado came out of the goal and Omar Ruisuarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes, Arturo Cires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona SC and the UD Manandel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Arturo Cires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barcelona SC's Arturo Cires got a free kick in the 24th minute. After recieving a nice pass, UD Manandel's Carnero Ibarra tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Espinola Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villafuerte Briones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Isaias Viguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vimaro Valdecañas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Rolando Villodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona SC's zone, Villafuerte Briones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Espinola Salgado came out of the goal and Villafuerte Briones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of UD Manandel booed when Barcelona SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Iribarne didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to UD Manandel getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Carnero Ibarra hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Viguera in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vimaro Valdecañas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Barcelona SC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Isaias Iribarne hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Barcelona SC's goalkeeper Espinola Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Ruisuarez. Espinola Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villafuerte Briones, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Villafuerte Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
