Sandro Vela started the match with the kick off. Danilo Carragal struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Vachon Euque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Poglio. An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Sandro Vela got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guagua Peñuelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xano Torto having to interfere. If Sandro Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vachon Euque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Vela, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Danilo Carragal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vachon Euque having to interfere. Sandro Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, one of UD Igualala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for UD Igualala. Vachon Euque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Vela in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of CD Poglio booed when UD Igualala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romero Sueiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 minutes UD Igualala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was William Fandoz who took care of the corner kick. CD Poglio's William Fandoz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vachon Euque in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Albiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Danilo Carragal charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Carragal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Danilo Carragal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Albiz scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xano Torto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to CD Poglio getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Torres Orellana hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Ramírez Cullar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Igualala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramírez Cullar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th match minute, UD Igualala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramírez Cullar to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Carragal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vachon Euque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of CD Poglio booed when UD Igualala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Pedraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Danilo Carragal made a precise shot to the right of Vachon Euque. UD Igualala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 82 minutes, Danilo Carragal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Poglio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Carragal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Sandro Vela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vachon Euque was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ramírez Cullar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. William Fandoz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vachon Euque. UD Igualala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CD Poglio's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
