Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ubarna Benavides kicked off to start the match. Lucio Buedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubarna Benavides, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Cristian Idalgo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. After 19 minutes, Jerson Longar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Granadilla and the UD Jauregui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, Jerson Longar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Idalgo got free with Alejandro Afaba in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Idalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Idalgo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Alejandro Afaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Granadilla. After 26 played minutes UD Jauregui got a freekick which was hit by Urtats Maquilanda. After having played for 30 minutes, Jairón Arraña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Granadilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairón Arraña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, UD Jauregui's goalkeeper Alejandro Afaba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Idalgo. Alejandro Afaba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairón Arraña's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Cristian Idalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairón Arraña in the 39th minute of play forced UD Jauregui's goalkeeper Alejandro Afaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairón Arraña was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Betanzos's late challenge caught a CD Granadilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Betanzos helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes CD Granadilla got a freekick which was hit by Ortiz Buron. Boris Castellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Buedo having to interfere. When Yoelvis Herrero fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Granadilla's protests and gave Yoelvis Herrero a yellow card for diving instead. Yoelvis Herrero kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ayoví Lantadilla, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When UD Jauregui's Ubarna Benavides in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Granadilla's goalie prevented a goal. UD Jauregui's Ismael Valben suffered a concussion after 66 minutes and had to leave the field. Jerson Longar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After having played for 69 minutes, Boris Castellana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Jauregui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Castellana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CD Granadilla's zone, Leonel Camarero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Buedo came out of the goal and Leonel Camarero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CD Granadilla's Lucio Buedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save CD Granadilla from getting a goal against them. When Cristian Idalgo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the CD Granadilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Idalgo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CD Granadilla getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Yoelvis Herrero hit a great ball. After 89 minutes of play, UD Jauregui's Boris Castellana made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Buedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, UD Jauregui's Boris Castellana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Buedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Granadilla's goalkeeper Lucio Buedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Betanzos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lucio Buedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
