Arévalo Lapenya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Villagra Hostos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Muey SC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Antequera. Arévalo Lapenya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Villagra Hostos having to make a save. When Martin Baamonde came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Picaigua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Baamonde couldn't finish the play. Martin Baamonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villagra Hostos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Baamonde in the 21st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Martin Baamonde put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Villagra Hostos. A collision led to Picaigua getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vennancio Gallaiztegui hit a great ball. Christobal Madaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. García Carrozal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perez Migolla having to interfere. Perez Migolla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from García Carrozal, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Muey SC booed when Picaigua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Sarries didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Alzorbe missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 39 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Perez Migolla right hand side. When Cornelio Muxica fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picaigua's protests and gave Cornelio Muxica a yellow card for diving instead. Perez Migolla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from García Carrozal in the 44th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Martin Baamonde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muey SC's Villagra Hostos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martin Baamonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for García Carrozal to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Muey SC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Regueira. 59 minutes into the match, García Carrozal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Picaigua's Perez Migolla. Perez Migolla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Muey SC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Baamonde came free, but Villagra Hostos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arévalo Lapenya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Picaigua's Perez Migolla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christobal Madaria in the 75th minute of play. Cornelio Muxica kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. García Carrozal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perez Migolla having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Picaigua's goal looked a bit too open when García Carrozal came free, but Perez Migolla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
