With an all-out effort, Rumicorral FC's Celso Mirabal threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felix Siruendo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Felix Siruendo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Mirabal came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Siruendo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. If Paredes Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xzaiver Oñate in the 25th minute of play forced Rumicorral FC's goalkeeper Paúl Larena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Guabisay's goalkeeper Celso Mirabal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xencio Carral. Xencio Carrals short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Celso Mirabal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 31 minutes, Guerrón Hurdinosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guabisay and the Rumicorral FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guerrón Hurdinosa hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Xencio Carral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xzaiver Oñate struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Paúl Larena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guabisay. After some careless play in the Rumicorral FC defense, Paredes Romo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paúl Larena. The Rumicorral FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paúl Larena should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Guabisay's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Siruendo came free, but Celso Mirabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Siruendo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Mirabal came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Siruendo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paredes Romo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rdth minute of the game Felix Siruendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guabisay's Celso Mirabal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Xencio Carral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumicorral FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xencio Carral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celso Mirabal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xencio Carral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute.
