Valencia Ovejas's late challenge caught a CD Pula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. CD Pula's Geovanni Valdeboys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Galve in the 44th minute of play. After the first half CD Pula were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tonio Reyes to strike the kick off in the second half. When Tonio Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the CD Pula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tonio Reyes couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Tonio Reyes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 54 minutes into the game, one of Paloma:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for CD Pula. Gomez Bugedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zambrano Sancho. 0-2.
